We are not the sacrificial lamb

If you are working on an important project — one that asks for your wholehearted participation and every skill you have plus skills you do not yet have, then consider your instrument.

Your body, mind, being, health.

When we are sleep deprived, malnourished, living in terror or scarcity, unfit, eating long-dead food far removed from source, then our instrument is blunt, out of tune and simply not able to deliver the beauty, awe and grace that is required to bring anything to life.

If we do not take care of our instrument as if our project and life depends upon it, then our ability to create and inspire will be reduced.

We are not the sacrificial lamb. That is the old hero’s story. It is such a broken story requiring immediate and eternal composting.

Be instead the exemplar inside out, of all that you hold for a world with a future.
