These are two of my favourite quotes that inspire me and keep me going when I fall down.
Bucky’s quote keeps me focused on action, with a fierce focus on the world I believe so many want to see. How to create a world that works for 100% of humanity and all Earth and her creatures, without ecological offence or the disadvantage of anyone. It requires re-imaging everything. All the systems, structures and cultural beliefs that have been humanity’s operating system for so long. Let us create an operating system that holds all-life now and for the longest forward time, as precious.
Kevin Kelly reminds me of the thrill of this type of work. It is not easy to explain to people new models, maps, language and mindsets that, to date, do not exist. At Syntropic World we are constantly seeking the language that enables those who deeply resonate with our work to find us.
Yet there is also beauty in this, and incredible satisfaction. I love it when people say, after a deep drink from the Syntropic well, I feel like I am home.
