Turn off the drama

We are everything — a multiplicity of characters. We rage, cry, laugh, and become selfish and self-centred. We move from greed to love and back again.

When threatened, we strike like a snake.

The question is, which part of us is allowed the most oxygen? And how do we find the space between stimulus and response, to pause and decide which of our characters will lead the next step?

This is to be human. To take the reins of runaway emotions. To lead self, against the battle inside. It is a lifetime of learning, awareness and application.

When the world amplifies hostile polarity, more poetry and beauty are required. Reaching deliberately to art, music, dance, and grace is an act of revolution.

Turn off the drama. Shut down the feed.

Dance. Love. Laugh.
