The greater force

Evolution has direction. Against our attempts to break, life emerges.

The weed pushes through concrete.

This force is astounding.

We might call it love. If so, then love is both a field and has direction. Love emerges towards.

The question I am sitting with this rainy morning, is, does this force happen even if we do nothing? Or does this force of life need our active participation and commitment?

I believe the latter, as we are co-creators of life and love. And if our active participation was not required meaning and purpose would be lost.
