Signals and echo chambers
When we put a signal out, the response gives us the opportunity to determine the signal’s quality, timing and relevance.
Did we put the signal into the place where it might be well received?
Did we attune to the timing of the signal? Sensing into Kairos time?
Was the signal a transmission or did more than one agenda cloud the signal?
One of the truths I learned early in my life was the saying, “True communication is the response you get.”
This statement simultaneously annoys me intensely while also giving me a place for deep reflection. If the signal/communication I am using is not getting the desired response, I need to change my communication.
The echo I get back is data-rich, including the data of silence.
