When we are younger we think the goal is the gold.

We learn that what happens on the way to the goal is where the real goal lies.

Who we become.

The people we meet.

The things we learn.

The unexpected sideways events that happen that so often take us to the more important place than the goal.

Setting goals is important, but not for the reason of achieving the goal.
