Shining light on others

In a recent conversation with a brilliant woman, she said she receives little external acknowledgement and validation of her work and being.

In the Dare to Care program, I teach the art of acknowledging others. I begin with the question, who has so much acknowledgement from others that they could not take any more? No one yet has ever said their cup is full of acknowledgement.

The long-held spiritual traditions of giving first are central to Syntropic World.

Give first. Give generously. Give from abundance. Even when your coffers are bare, give. A smile. A prayer.

Acknowledgement.

Imagine if each of us practised, each day, edifying and acknowledging another. Sharing their work. Bringing them into the light.

Imagine if we did this with commitment and diligence.

It costs so little to do this. Time. Focus. Commitment.

Some of us are abundantly networked; we know people who can support or spread messages. When we do not use our networks to shine light on those without access, we become complicit in a world where so much brilliance is never seen or experienced.

Everyone loses.

Let us shine a light on others as an act of love and generosity for the unique art and expression of people.
