Relationships are the strength that enables change

When we consider resilience, adaptability, responsibility, we might begin with the most powerful bond humans have.

The bond between each other, between Earth and all her creatures.

Not chains. Not rigid. Not too loose, or too tight.

To be in relationship with others, to orbit with others, as atoms and planets orbit each other, is to know synergy. We are better together when our bonds are healthy.

So often I see the haste to build a ‘something’, be that an enterprise or a thing…and a failure to take the time to build the bonds between.

The bonds between are the glue, the asset, the safety valve.

Intangible, weightless, unmeasurable, we dismiss them as secondary or tertiary. Until everything falls apart.

To deliberately and carefully design spaces and places for our relational bonds to become the most precious asset we have, is to be a steward of resilience, adaptability, and diversity against change.

This is the purpose behind the Syntropic Enterprise Trust Manifesto. Fluid enough to invite creativity, tight enough to create agreement.

(Our next Syntropic Enterprise Masterclass series where we work on all of these elements, commence in September for Australia/Europeans and October for Australia/New Zealand and Americas. Read more here.)
