Outsource all our production of goods to China — because cheap labour = cheap goods = feed the insatiable consumer economy capitalism needs to keep it alive.

Then blame China for being the biggest carbon emitter.

As Vijay Prashad says, try producing all the iPhones locally and see how we do with carbon emissions. But no, China is the enemy.

And we need a good enemy to keep feeding the military-industrial complex, even if it is a load of BS.

And those in power have zero cares for how much carbon is emitted, anyway.

Felon47 created a crypto token on Friday, and in a few days, he was listed as one of the richest 25 people on Earth. 58 Billion made. More money than he has ever made. Made is an oxymoron, indeed, it has to be oxy Morons who brought his tokens, other than the few inside traders who knew and got in and out to profit the most. Profiteering off a role with almost unvetted power now that he is incapable of being held to account by the highest courts in the land that he owns. Yet this little scam gives him power over the entire crypto landscape, especially Bitcoin. Tokens created out of nothing propped up by mythology are so fragile he could take Bitcoin down with a sneeze. I hope he does.

Sarah Kendzior has written presciently about Trump since before 2016. She believes his only ambition is to tank the US economy so it can be sold for parts to the oligarchy and his family, giving them what is common in real estate — the fire sale. This is a method Felon47 is familiar with, as are all private equity firms. Rape and pillage.

Heather Cox Richardson summarises in one short note some of the egregious levels of corruption of the corpocracy. It is heartbreaking. Real people’s lives shattered.

Yet the entire good work of FTC chair Lina Khan is about to be undone because the bros hate regulation, and today, the bros rule the world.

On a positive note, and I am optimistic, the ooze of nasty, cruel and greed is beginning to smell very bad, even to those who have been dazzled by the artificial shroud of glamour.

I wait for Gravity, the queen of all of us, to do her work.

Not passively. We must have new modes to replace the broken ones.

But Gravity will win in the end. It will be interesting to watch how she wields her hand. I suspect everyone will be surprised, and the fall will be sudden, unexpected and cruel.
