On adventure, travel and change

I am sitting in Brisbane International Airport about to embark on an adventure to Sri Lanka for three weeks.

I am excited and feel incredibly lucky to be able to do this.

I love stepping into other cultures with all the challenges of language, customs and food.

I want to be challenged in my perspectives. I want my world to expand.

I want to know more and understand more about others.

The gift of travel is something I cherish. For so many, it is either impossible or is only commenced through desperation to find freedom and dignity in other lands.

Over the next few weeks, I look forward to taking you on this journey with me, offering my perspective and sharing my experiences.

Given the time difference, I may be publishing later than usual.
