Making money instead of making things

An abstraction reproducing itself. This is the absurdity of money making money from money without any correlation to real value.
The idea of money was to facilitate ease of exchange of value. Not to be valued in its own right.
There is a difference between investing money into value creation and having money making money without producing any value.
When we agree to money uncorrelated from any value, we are only a few steps from being reduced to an irrelevance of value ourselves. When this happens to us, and it will, we will experience the horror of humans and life as commodities and numbers on a spread sheet of someone else’s wealth accumulation.
