Make stuff that is good for people and the planet to have
Oh this sounds so simple, so obvious. Yet we have tons and tons of landfill every year evidencing the rarity of this statement.
Not just stuff that is good for people and planet to have, but stuff built to last.
Unplanned obsolescence rather than planned obsolescence.
Not just the circular economy, where each component is considered and built enabling reuse. Unless we do this at minimum the volume of earth we will need to dig up just to get the rare earth minerals needed to create green energy will mean digging up most of the earth. Circular economy PLUS all-in-accounting, factoring the cost of our Mother Nature to create the raw materials and in so doing value Mother Nature, as well as the post use cost.
Make stuff that is good for our future, for your grandchildren. For life.
