Leadership leads

It seems redundant to say this. Leadership leads.

Yet it must be said that so many leaders fail to lead by example. Rather they choose to lead by domination, arrogance, ignorance of obfuscation.

To lead means to take the first step into the scary territory and uncharted waters.

To stand strong and vulnerable when your people are scared and uncertain.

To admit that the road ahead is so completely uncertain that any next step might fail. To clearly present the evidence for your decision making, and the people you have sort council from. We spoke to all of these people (specifically) and this is the specific information we discussed. Based on this, here is the conclusion we made and hence why we have made this decision for this path. Obviously not everyone will agree. If the path we have chosen is wrong, we will admit fault quickly and course correct.

When we treat people like fools as a leader, and when people accept being treated like fools by leadership, then we get posturing and foolishness pretending to be leaders.

We need better leaders. Be that leader even at the grassroots level. And we need to vote out the leaders we have.

That is, if we want a world with a future for earth and all our creatures.
