Humans still have much to learn from Nature
I am so incredibly lucky. I won the birth lottery. Australia gives me lifestyle privileges so few have.
My childhood was trauma-free, something we only now recognise as giving so many a jump start.
I love my work. After years of a patchwork quilt of expressions, the interweaving thread of everything finally came together, making sense to me and offering real value to people and the future.
Syntropic World is entirely emergent. Emergence is my most favourite expression — the threshold of creativity where I am most at ease.
Yet yesterday I slept 2 hours in the middle of the day after a solid 8 hours. (On the beach in the Winter Sun — oh joy!)
This is why we need time out. The unplugging of all neurons from their daily calibrated firing, the letting go of the to-do list, creating space between my work that gives me fresh perspectives.
An early morning walk, followed by two surfs, sustained by fire-cooked fresh food, a good book, and plenty of sleep.
I will be better for the pause, my work will be better, the people I serve will be served better.
Nature knows seasons. Humans still have much to learn from Nature.
