How will you know?

Yesterday I was in a conversation about a massive purpose. The purpose mentioned was “transforming civilisation.”

If this was my purpose I do not even have to get out of bed for this to happen. Civilisation is transforming right before our eyes. We only have to turn on the news. I am not speaking about the slow transformation of wind wearing down rock. I am speaking about species extinction, uninhabitable land, impossible temperatures, ocean acidification and the rise of the strong man narcissistic political leader.

Transforming civilisation might sound sexy but it is hollow. How will we know the transformation is the one we set our intention on? What will be the evidence, specifically?

So many wonderful ideas to do good things live within the walls and structures of the very design features that got us into this mess. To hallucinate that we can change things through the application of the systems and structures that are the source of the mess is a fool’s game

Can we please stop fiddling with the deck chairs on the Titanic and instead build new boats?

But to do this requires true transformation. As in completely new models, new maps and new mindsets.

How will we know?

Earth and ALL her creatures will approach a higher order of well-being in all domains. This is syntropy.
