How we do things around here
The Syntropic Enterprise Trust Manifesto is a template for creating enterprise agreements that enable ecologies for synergy — where collectively we are better than working solo.
In the Trust Manifesto we outline the ways we work together. People have sovereign choice as to whether they become part of the enterprise — to do so they are required to agree to the Trust Manifesto, which is designed around human dignity and increased wellbeing as well as personal and collective responsibility. (I am aware that this may not be aligned with some enterprise laws in certain jurisdictions.)
A simple version of the Trust Manifesto could include things like;
We do not use email for any other reason than to confirm meetings, share meeting notes, agendas, strategy. If there is a personal issue we speak to the person directly, either by phone, zoom or face to face.
We always answer emails to each other within 24 hours, even if it is just to say received and seen.
We maintain the privacy of our fellows unless permission has been given.
We never speak with ill intent to one of our workmates or to another behind their back. If we have an issue we go direct to the person or ask for coaching support.
If we do not understand something we ask. There is no shame in not knowing once.
Mistakes are encouraged as innovation is welcome. Making the same mistake twice will have consequences. Making the same mistake three times is not acceptable.
It is safe to raise issues and concerns, which will be received with respect.
The Pattern Integrity of what we stewarding is not to be violated at any cost.
No one is exempt from these agreements, especially the leadership team, as everything we do is by example.
