Do the right thing

It is hard to do the right thing. We might have to pay a high price.

We might lose an election. Or friends.

To stand for something and to hold the ground for integrity in all things is the least walked path.

Walk the least walked path.

I watch as people and enterprises gain platforms of power and influence, and the maintenance of the platform becomes more important than doing the right thing.

The very thing that got them onto their platform is now put aside so they can keep the position.

This is a violation of the Pattern Integrity of the idea that created the platform in the first place.

Do the right thing. It is hard. It asks the best of us.

That is the point.

Our young people look at the conceit and lies of our leaders with despair. Anyone who does this right thing will get their vote.
