Can we truly know?

I ponder this for myself as I wrestle the one thousand opinions.

When we walk unwalked territories, when we have opened Pandora’s box for the first time, or the hundredth, do we really know anything about anything except today?

We can predict. We can proselytise. We can prognosticate.

We can be cautious. Or throw caution to the wind.

We can preach. We certainly can be righteous. I know righteousness so well.

But do we truly know? Does anyone? Truly?

If this is true, that we do not know for sure, might caution be wise?

Perhaps acting with caution, perhaps considering that our choice may affect others, especially those with limited choices, might be a consideration?

Perhaps, in our not knowing, we can consider deeply all possibilities, and not out of fear, rather from love, we can act for the whole?

And perhaps…perhaps…

This is the way to live no matter what.

Consideration of our effects on the whole, and especially on those who are most vulnerable.
