A mind all logic

A mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it. Rabindranath Tagore

Logic on steroids cuts deep. The bleed is everything that makes life gorgeous. The mysterious. Senses that defy containment. Beauty. Love. Laughter. Spontaneity.

Logic has no time for infinity and eternity. Logic rebels against Kairos time — the clock of the heavens — unexplainable synchronised time.

Logic wants linear. Safe. Predictable.

Yet life is messy. It spirals up and down irrationally. It defies prediction.

Much as we might find the unpredictable discomforting, life, love and beauty are found in the spaces between order, not in the order of logic itself.

As Nora Bateson calls it, the transcontextual warm data space.

Logic creates a frame for everything needed that is not logic to play.

Oh life, we need to play.
