A clear distinction — Belief and Truth

We all have beliefs that are not true. Beliefs that may be true.

Beliefs that keep us sane when everything feels insane.

Nothing wrong with beliefs.

But to confuse a belief as true just because you believe it is true is to assign ourselves to the delusional world which eventually disintegrates into tragicomedy — often at great harm to many.

In a world of media manipulation, the most powerful propaganda machine ever created working its way through everyone who reads a newspaper or touches a screen, we must constantly ask ourselves;

Is this a belief? Or is it true? How do I know it is true? If you answer that it is true because you believe it to be true — this is not a qualified answer.

Admit the belief and state the hypothesis.
